Fiorentina winger Jakub Blaszczykowski came off the bench to score an outstanding winner in Poland’s final group game against Ukraine. Blaszczykowski captained the Poland side that crashed out in the group stages at home four years ago.
With the draw opening up, his team have a great chance to put that failure firmly to rest, with a run to the final a real possibility. Although not a certainty to start, Blaszczykowski is a great option off the bench against tiring legs. Could he be the different today?
