This year sees Manchester City try to defend their crown and claim a historic fourth title in succession. Meanwhile Luton Town are making their first appearance in the Premier League, having risen from non-league in an incredible decade of progress. They followed Championship winners Burnley and second-placed Sheffield United in earning promotion to the top flight.

Ait-Nouri is clipped as he tries to keep the ball in play and he rolls out, holding onto his ankle. He looks to be in some discomfort as the medical team gives him treatment. With him off the pitch, the game is able to continue.

Lemina is slightly unlucky to give away a free-kick as he gets in a tangle with Pereira. The Brazilian steps up to take it, but curls his cross too close to Sa, who comfortably pulls it in.

GREAT SAVE! Iwobi fizzes a dangerous cross into the far post and Jimenez tries to catch out Sa from a tight angle but only wins a corner. Pereira whips the set-piece into Cairney on the edge of the box, who hits the shot on the half-volley, and the keeper gets a strong hand to this one too.

Reed tries to intercept a throughball, but his touch inadvertently sets up Bellegarde. He's wiped out by Robinson just after poking it forward, but Leno rushes out of his box to stop Hwang from reaching it.
