Meanwhile Luton Town are making their first appearance in the Premier League, having risen from non-league in an incredible decade of progress. They followed Championship winners Burnley and second-placed Sheffield United in earning promotion to the top flight.

This is the first top-flight meeting between Fulham and Luton since the 1959-60 campaign. The Cottagers won 4-2 at home in September, while the Hatters won 4-1 at Kenilworth Road in January that season.
