Small details cost Fulham against Arsenal - Silva

Fulham were held to a 2-2 home draw by AFC Bournemouth in their final Premier League game of the year on Sunday after Dango Ouattara scored a late equaliser for the visitors in an end-to-end clash at Craven Cottage.

Fulham took the lead in the 40th minute from a corner kick when Raul Jimenez powered home a header, and Bournemouth equalised six minutes after the restart when Evanilson volleyed the ball past Bernd Leno from a tight angle.

Fulham restored their lead in the 72nd minute when Harry Wilson headed in his second goal in as many games before Bournemouth substitute Ouattara chipped the ball over keeper Bernd Leno in the 89th minute.

The result leaves Bournemouth in sixth place with 30 points at the halfway mark this season, while Fulham are a point behind in eighth, below seventh-placed Newcastle United on goal difference.

SAVE! A ball into the Fulham box falls kindly for Brooks, whose fierce drive is well held by Leno.

Wilson has a snapshot. He arrives into the box and controls it before unleashing a shot that goes straight into Kepa's gloves.

Fulham haven't started with the confidence their Boxing Day win would suggest they would have.

Bournemouth have been the team that have imposed themselves better here. A rushed clearance was just about enough for Fulham to get a breather but they are just surviving for the time being.

Andoni Iraola is without Justin Kluivert who gained too many yellow cards and is suspended. That means Christie has stepped further forward to take on a more creative role, something that he did when at Celtic. Like Muniz for Fulham, Unal's heroics haven't rewarded him with a start as he also will try to make an impact off the bench. Both teams are in electric form and have shown an ability to play great football, so it should be a cracker to end the year.

Fulham opted for a back five against Chelsea, and they have gone for it again here against Bournemouth. Robinson has been one of the star performers for Silva and in this role he has more attacking freedom to produce, while Iwobi was really impressive in this role against Chelsea. Muniz came off the bench to score the winner against the Blues three days ago and remains on the bench to start this game as well. Will he be able to strike as a substitute again?
