Your support makes all the difference.It’s the final day of the Championship season and before the chaos of the play-offs takes hold next week, there is the small matter of deciding who goes up to the Premier League… and who drops down to League One.
Cardiff City know a win at home to Reading will see them return to the Premier League for the first time since 2014, but their opponents are not totally safe, sitting only two points above the drop zone in 19th.
Fulham will be waiting in the wings knowing they must win to capitalise on any slip-ups, although they are also playing a relegation-threatened side in Birmingham City.
At the other end of the table, there are five teams fighting to avoid the two final relegation places as Burton Albion and Barnsley are away to play-off chasing Preston North End and Derby County respectively. The final team involved are Bolton Wanderers, who are at home to Nottingham Forest.

Pitch invasions at Cardiff, Birmingham and Bolton as the Bluebirds secure their return to the top flight, after an absence of four years. Flares are being let off, Warnock is jubilant. It was tight, but Fulham missed their chance.
Bolton have done the unthinkable. They were under a transfer embargo at the start of the season, they sold their top scorer Gary Madine in January. But two goals in two minutes have kept them up. Utterly sensational.
Birmingham have done what no side has done in 23 matches. They have beaten Fulham, with goals from Jutkiewicz, Dean and Adams. Their safety was never in doubt. For Fulham, it will feel wretched, considering the Cardiff draw. However, they must gather themselves for the playoffs - they have never won promotion that way.

Promoted: Wolves, Cardiff City
Relegated: Burton, Barnsley, Sunderland
Playoffs: Fulham, Villa, Middlesbrough, Derby

A 90th minute goal from Patrick Bamford makes sure Boro retain 5th place. That means they avoid Fulham in the playoffs, meaning Derby will take on the Whites and Boro will face Steve Bruce's Aston Villa, who lost to Millwall today 1-0.
