From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. A good read indeed. If there's been one bright spark through a rather insipid cup campaign for Arsenal so far it's been the form of Iwobi, who has shown real confidence on the ball and a willingness to get forward and play the high risk/high reward pass.
A reminder of how the action played out last time the two sides met, with Eldin Jakupovic on inspired form for Hull.

Arsene Wenger has admitted to BT Sport that Olivier Giroud's recent goal drought is a worry, but hopes some good news off the field will spur him on:
It is a concern. You always say to your strikers don't worry if you don't score but after a while they need to. Olivier has become a father last night, we hope it offers a little injection for him to score tonight.
