From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of today's fourth-round FA Cup action. First up for us Sheffield Wednesday vs Swansea, which gets underway in just a few minutes' time.

Here's how the two teams line up this afternoon:

Since Swansea released their team, Alfie Mawson has picked up an injury in the warm-up so Kyle Naughton starts in his place.

2' - Huge chance for the hosts!

Atdge Nuhiu plays Adam Reach in on goal with a neat headed pass but the winger is denied from close range by Kristoffer Nordfeldt.

Sheffield Wednesday 0-0 Swansea

Sheffield Wednesday 0-0 Swansea

11' - The home side has dominated the early stages of this match and Swansea have looked a little sluggish. They're really struggling to keep hold of the ball.

Liam Corless17 February 2018 12:44

Sheffield Wednesday 0-0 Swansea

17' - After a lightning start by the hosts Swansea have improved over the last few minutes. However, they're yet to have a shot on goal while the hosts have had three.

Sheffield Wednesday 0-0 Swansea

22' - Daniel Pudil brings Swansea's Tammy Abraham down with a challenge from behind around 35 yards from goal. Ki Sung-yeung takes the resulting free-kick but his delivery is cleared away easily.

It's been a bit of a dull first half in South Yorkshire.

Liam Corless17 February 2018 12:54

Sheffield Wednesday 0-0 Swansea

27' - Luciano Narsingh plays a neat one-two with Tammy Abraham inside the hosts' penalty area before being challenged just as he's about to get a shot away.

That's Swansea's best moment of the match by far, which doesn't say much about the quality they've shown in the opening half an hour.
