Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference. The FA Cup remains in full swing with six more games to be played today.
Cardiff welcome fellow Championship side Fulham to the Cardiff City Stadium to kick Sunday's procedures off.
That game is followed by Liverpool vs Plymouth Argyle at 1.30pm. With just one major upset from Saturday's results, with Millwall claiming a surprise 3-0 over Bournemouth, Derek Adams' men have the opportunity to pull off what would arguably be one of the biggest shock wins of the tournament yet.
Chelsea vs Peterborough and Middlesbrough vs Sheffield Wednesday follows at 3.00pm before Tottenham round-up today's action as they take on Aston Villa at 4.00pm.

Trippier delivers a perfect ball into the box and it falls at the feet of Son, who controls it then miss-hits it. It's a dismal attempt and is arguably Tottenham's best attempt of the game so far.

Substitution: Janssen is replaced by Alli.
Janssen done well today - his work rate was faultless. Nonetheless, i'm sure the Spurs fans will welcome the introduction of Ali with open arms.

Son breaks through with a burst of pace and fires a tremendous strike, but it's outweighed by Johnstone's aesthetically pleasing save to safety.

Winks goes for goal from distance, but the deflected strike is saved by Johnstone. It's end-to-end stuff right now.

TOTTENHAM 1 - 0 ASTON VILLA
Davies has broke the deadlock for the home side, with the substitute N'Koudou delivering the assist just seconds after his introduction. It's a great header from the Spurs man, leaving Johnstone helpless. Their persistence has paid off, at last.
