The 'Big Six' are all in contention for the fourth round
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Some tasty fixtures there!
Poor Brentford have been handed a beast of a game against Chelsea but that should be quite the day out for the travelling fans.
United take on Wigan at Old Trafford while Leicester and Derby meet in a rare Midlands clash.
Tottenham have also been handed a favourable fixture, having been drawn against Wycombe.
Arsenal will face either Southampton or Norwich while Manchester City can expect an away day to either Crystal Palace or Bolton.
Manchester United vs Wigan Athletic will be a day to remember for Warren Joyce.
The 51-year-old left his position as co-manager of United reserves to take over at the DW Stadium and now finds himself returning to his former employers, much quicker than suspected I imagine!
That's a game he'll be thoroughly looking forward to no doubt.
Just a shame the draw wasn't the other way round. Yet another FA Cup fixture at Old Trafford.
