From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. Arsenal and West Ham meet for the second time in seven days, having played out a 0-0 draw at the London Stadium last week, as the two sides go head to head tonight in the quarter-finals of the League Cup.

Arsenal, as expected in the previous fixture, dominated possession but were unable to break down a stubborn West Ham team that restricted Arsenal to a mere three shots on target. David Moyes will want a similarly committed display against an Arsenal side that Arsene Wenger will be sure to rotate ahead of a tough fixture against Liverpool at the Emirates on Friday.

Here, we'll be primarily focusing on the London derby between Arsenal and West Ham at the Emirates but we'll also be bringing you updates from the King Power Stadium as Leicester taken on Manchester City.

Moyes: We need to win trophies

Earlier this week West Ham boss David Moyes stressed the importance of bringing silverware to the London Stadium.

“It would definitely boost the club and everything we do, 100 per cent, if we were to go through,” he said. “I’ve been fortunate enough to be at some big clubs and you need to win trophies."

Pre-match quotes from Pep Guardiola

On his much-changed starting XI: "You cannot play four competitions with the same guys in England."

On Phil Foden's inclusion: "Every training session, every game, when you are 17 years old there is a chance to improve. It's always a good chance. I tell him to play how he knows to play and to do what he has to do offensively and defensively. "
