Everton vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
Everton secure an emphatic 4-0 victory over Wolves in the Premier League at Goodison Park! The Toffees climb to 15th, while Wolves drop to 19th in the table. Dyche's side took the lead when Calvert-Lewin was fouled just outside the box, allowing Young to curl a precise free-kick into the bottom corner. Everton believed they had doubled their advantage when Tarkowski nodded in a cross from McNeil, but the goal was disallowed due to Mangala being offside. However, Dyche's team eventually secured a second goal when Mangala capitalised on a loose ball at the edge of the box, with his deflected shot finding its way past Sa and into the net. After the break, Everton struck once again as Dawson nodded into his own net from a corner. The Wolves centre-back's night went from bad to worse, this time attempting to clear a McNeil cross, but he fired into the bottom corner to make it 4-0. The Toffees struck four times from an expected goals tally of 1.02, while Wolves created just 0.79 throughout. Up next for Everton is the Merseyside derby against Liverpool at Goodison Park, while Wolves will travel to West Ham. That's all for today, goodbye!
