Tottenham Hotspur begin life after Antonio Conte with a trip to face Everton this evening.
Spurs elected to move on from the Italian manager during the international break a week after Conte labelled the club’s players as lacking in “fight” and “desire” in an explosive press conference that seemed destined to end his time in north London.
Interim boss Cristian Stellini has recent touchline experience, covering for Conte during a health-related absence earlier in the season, but faces a tough test first up against an Everton side strengthened under Sean Dyche.
With eight sides appearing to be in the relegation battle, a point or more against a visiting side in transition seems feasible and could be vital.

Yet again, Spurs are creating all of their own problems here as another backpass is played to Lloris. Davies bears down on him quickly and blocks the clearance, but it bounces out for a goal-kick. They get away with one there!

BLOCK! It's a long ball upfield from Pickford that catches Spurs out this time, and Tarkowski nods that across the box, but it comes straight back to him off Kane. He decides to try his luck this time, but drills his shot against Dier.

We're into six minutes of stoppage time here, and Spurs are trying to catch Everton out after the restart. It's worked back out to Perisic on the left, and he hits a low shot towards the near post, but picks out the side netting.
