Liverpool were winners back in 2020 ending a 30-year wait for league glory and Jurgen Klopp is sure to have them back challenging again at the sharp end this season too while Manchester United will be looking to be back in the title picture with Cristiano Ronaldo returning to his former club in the summer.
It's not all about the action at the top though with Norwich, Watford and Brentford promoted to the top tier for 2020/21 and hoping to hold their own against the best English football has to offer and avoid the drop.

The pressure is now off Everton going into their final game of the season against Arsenal, as they now can't be caught by Leeds United. As for Palace, they miss the chance to move into the top half. They stay in 13th ahead of their last game against Manchester United.

Everton secure Premier League safety after coming from behind to beat Crystal Palace 3-2. The visitors were 2-0 up at the break, with Mateta nodding in from close range before a string of defensive errors led to Ayew tapping in on the line. Richarlison also hit the bar from a free-kick. Everton were a different side after the break though. Keane pulled one back with a great strike before Richarlison equalised after Andersen's failed clearance. Calvert-Lewin then secured all three points with a diving header to turn in Gray's free-kick.

Calvert-Lewin takes it to the corner, but he can't keep it there for long as he has Guehi and Mitchell pressuring him. Palace break quickly on the counter, but Eze can't pick out Gallagher with his long ball.

Everton are dropping deep to close off the space ahead of Palace as Andersen goes long to Benteke. He gets the better of Coleman to nod it down but then slips before he can make anything of it.

Again, Lampard is urging his players to calm down. As it stands, Everton will be staying in the Premier League, but they need to keep their concentration in the closing minutes to make sure it stays that way.

Some of the Everton fans rushed onto the pitch in celebration after Calvert-Lewin's goal and it's taken a while for the stewards to get them back into the stands. None of the players for either side are happy with that reaction and they're trying to help the process along.
