Everton have not seen much of the ball in the opening quarter-hour, with Dyche’s side expectedly allowing their opponents the majority of the possession - instead preferring to hit on counter-attacks and set-pieces. Maresca’s team have had over 70 per cent in the opening stages, already forcing Pickford into a save, while the Toffees have struggled to threaten Chelsea’s half.
