Manchester United 0-2 PSG
Angel Di Maria came back to haunt Manchester United and played a significant part in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's tenure as manager at Old Trafford.
United started with a good intensity but never really tested a depleted PSG in the first 45 minutes. The second half was a different story. The home side lost Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard to injuries and that really spelt the end of them in this tie.
Presnel Kimpembe opened the scoring, a close-range finish to convert Di Maria's corner, before Kylian Mbappe added a second and gave United a tough task of progressing.
United had a large amount of possession in the final third but never really looked like testing Buffon. Romelu Lukaku came on with 10 minutes to go in an attempt to switch things up, but it was too late.
Solskjaer's side will travel to Paris in three weeks without Paul Pogba after he picked up a second yellow card and was sent off late in the game.

Solskjaer gets 'reality check'
Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand says Manchester United must learn from tonight's 'reality check'.
"This is a reality check for this United team. It's not a bad thing, it's something to learn from. In this tenure Ole Gunner Solskjaer has probably been preparing for this loss," he said on BT Sport.
"But tonight they didn't show anything as an attacking force. They didn't get around players. This PSG team, without two of their best attacking players, coasted."

After the first goal everything changes the game was under control we were not the better team but not worse than them, the game could have finished 0-0. They played counter-attack which is what they wanted.
"We won away against Tottenham and Arsenal and we will try to win away.
"We are optimistic, this is just one result. We are building something good, tomorrow is going to be a tough day but we must not lose our focus. We must keep our place in the top four and fight in the FA Cup"
Solskjaer: 'Mountains are there to be climbed'
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on BT Sport: "It looked like what we thought it was going to be. Both teams looked at each other. When they got the first goal, it was a poor goal to give away. They got momentum and controlled the game. We've not played games at this level for a while and we must learn from this experience, it can go either way. This isn't a season-defining match.
"We have Mata and Sanchez to come on. Jesse and Anthony, let's hope they're not too serious. It's muscle injuries so you have to wait.
"Alves is clever enough to put his foot it, Paul wants to feel the ball and hits him on the knee.
"Mountains are there to be climbed. We have to go and believe in ourselves, improve. Today was a reality check."
