Right, that's the Champions League out of the way, with City facing a difficult task to reach the final in facing 10-time European Cup winners Real Madrid. To be fair, there was no easy option in the draw, given the calibre of teams left in the final four, but they will be pleased not to have been drawn against Pep Guardiola's Bayern Munich and will *hope* Atletico knock the Germans out in the semis. The fun isn't over yet though as we have the Europa League semi-final draw coming up next.

It's fair to say that Liverpool will fancy their chances in this tournament after disposing of Borussia Dortmund, but they will want to avoid Spanish side Sevilla, who have won back-to-back Europa Leagues and are bidding to become the first team to ever win the competition three years in a row.

The first minster of Basle is laying down a long-winded history of the Swiss city at the moment, given the final will take place at FC Basle's St Jakob Park stadium. He's dragging on a while here...
