From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

There's three things certain in life: Death, taxes and Arsenal vs Bayern Munich.

This is the fourth time in the last five seasons that Arsene Wenger's men have been drawn against the German giants. Did someone say conspiracy...?

Up next we have the draw for the Europa League. The format is slightly different here as 16 of the teams are seeded, while the other 16 are not.

Of those 16 teams, 12 of them are group winners, with the final four being made up of the four best-placed Champions League teams who are entering the tournament - one of which is Tottenham.

That means United will likely face a tough draw, as well as a second leg away from home, after finishing second in their group.

Unlike the Champions League draw, the Europa League is far less predictable - mainly because neither Bayern Munich or Arsenal are involved.

Also, it is impossible for Tottenham and Manchester United to draw each other at this stage of the competition.
