At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Your support makes all the difference.Tottenham came from behind to beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 and book its place in the Champions League last 16 as group winner ahead of Real Madrid on Tuesday.
Harry Kane and Son Heung-min cancelled out Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's strike for Dortmund to keep Tottenham on top of Group H. Madrid was three points behind.
With one round remaining, the defending champion cannot catch the English Premier League side on account of its inferior head-to-head record, despite its 6-0 rout of APOEL Nicosia in Cyprus. Tottenham drew with the Spanish champion in Madrid, then won the return fixture in London.
"It's done and now we can enjoy it," said Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, who hailed "a big achievement."
The best Dortmund can hope for, with two points from five games, is Europa League qualification. The side is struggling badly with only one win - in the German Cup - from nine games across all competitions.

It’s a big game for…
Dele Alli. Spurs have already qualified for the last 16 and despite missing the first three games through suspension, Alli has been a huge part of that by scoring twice in the win over Real Madrid last time out. However, his performance in Saturday’s north London derby has come in for heavy criticism as have a number of his below-par offerings this season and he really needs to remind people of his quality more regularly. And there are few better opponents to do that against than Borussia Dortmund.
Remember when…
Tottenham beat Dortmund for their first win at Wembley since making it their temporary home earlier this season. Harry Kane scored twice after Son Heung-min’s opener with Andriy Yarmolenko getting the sole reply. Jan Vertonghen was sent off late on.
Player to watch…
Christian Pulisic. Dortmund will be going all out to beat Spurs to keep alive their very slim hopes of qualification for the round of 16, and Pulisic, pulling the strings in midfield, is likely to be at the heart of it. Despite not being the assist-demon you may expect – he hasn’t provided one since the first day of the season – the American is a livewire. Cutting in from the left he caused Spurs some heart-stopping moments in the return game at Wembley and expect more on Tuesday night.

Besiktas reach the last 16
The full-time whistle has just gone in Istanbul and Besiktas are into the knock-out stages of the Champions League for the first time after a 1-1 draw with Porto.
Felipe opened the scoring for the visitors but Anderson Talisca's leveller just before half-time was enough to guarantee Besiktas top spot in Group G.
Meanwhile, Spartak Moscow vs Maribor, another early kick-off, ended 1-1 in Group E - a result which does neither side any favours ahead of the meeting of first-placed Liverpool and second-placed Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
BT Sport's analysts have been fairly impressed with Mo Salah this season. Here's what they had to say about the little Egyptian a few moments ago...
Rio Ferdinand: "Mo Salah has been phenomenal this season. It makes it a nightmare to play against. You don't know where they are.
"Salah is scoring different types of goals. That's the impressive thing about him."
Frank Lampard: "Salah's full of confidence and when Liverpool are on form, they're as good as anybody to watch because they've got so much ability going forward."
Michael Owen: "His movement off the ball is second to none at the moment."
Sevilla vs Liverpool previous meetings
These two teams have only ever played each other twice before and Liverpool are yet to come out on top.
In the 2016 Europa League final the Spanish side emerged as 3-1 victors, while at Anfield earlier this season the two teams drew 2-2.
Can Spurs bounce back from Saturday's defeat in the North London derby with a win in Germany?
Guardiola: We're not Champions League favourites
Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri and Leicester boss Claude Puel have both recently claimed that Manchester City are the best side in Europe but boss Pep Guardiola, in the build-up to tonight's game against Feyenoord at the Etihad, has played down his side's chances of winning European club football's elite prize.
"I say thank you very much to both of them," said Guardiola, "For Manchester City, a team that still needs a history in Europe, it is a big win (against Napoli).
"That doesn't mean we are favourites to win the Champions League but it's nice. It means we are doing some things very well.
"But obviously people usually say the favourite teams are FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and others. But that people put us there, is a big honour. That does not mean we have done anything because we haven't."
