At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Welcome to The Independent's live coverage of tonight's Champions League match between Barcelona and Manchester City, brought to you from the Nou Camp.
14 min: Messi gets hold of the ball on the right and suddenly the stadium erupts into a chorus of noise as Barcelona's fans urge their star play forward. He drifts inwards, picks out Neymar ahead of him in search of a one-two but Stones gets an important foot in and Messi's charge forward is halted in its tracks.
26 min: Nolito bursts down the left flank but he's met by a wall of Blue and Red and is forced to turn back. After starting so brightly, City are finding it increasingly difficult to penetrate their opponents now.
30 min: Another chance! A searching ball is pinged long over the top and in behind the City backline to set Neymar up for a one-on-one with Bravo. But the City keeper was quick from his line and rushed to meet the Brazilian on the edge of the box, spreading his legs and hands to block the shot. Well read from Bravo.
