From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Arsenal wrapped up their Europa League group stage with a thrashing against Bate Borisov at the Emirates.

The Gunners finished top of Group H and therefore avoid the four best Champions League sides dropping down to the Europa League as seeded sides.

All the live action below...

What time is it?

The game kicks off at 8.05pm at the Emirates.

Where can I watch it?

You can watch the game on BT Sport 2 from 8pm or follow along with The Independent’s live blog above.

It is a big game for…

Jack Wilshere. This is one of Wilshere’s last chances to impress enough to earn a new contract at the Emirates before the January transfer window, with only one EFL Cup game after this which he is likely to start. He has recently been making a few cameos off the bench in the Premier League but realistically this will be one of his final opportunities from the start.

Bate: WDLWLD

Arsenal: 4/9

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of tonight's Europa League match between Arsenal and Bate Borisov.

This is how the Gunners line up this evening:

Just 10 minutes to go until kick-off in north London. Arsenal have already sealed top spot in Group H but they'll want to wrap up the group stage in style with another victory.

The players are out on the pitch at a half-empty Emirates Stadium and kick-off is imminent.

Here's a reminder of Arsenal's team:

Starting XI: Ospina, Debuchy, Chambers, Holding, Maitland-Niles, Elneny, Coquelin, Wilshere, Walcott, Welbeck, Giroud

Subs: Macey, Sheaf, Nelson, Reine-Adelaide, Willock, Nketiah, Akpom

1' - We are underway in north London!

Liam Corless7 December 2017 20:05

3' - Chance! Olivier Giroud's knockdown lands at the feet of Mohamed Elneny on the edge of the area and the Egyptian's first-time left-footed shot hits the outside of the post and goes behind for a goal-kick.

Liam Corless7 December 2017 20:09

7' - Mirko Ivanic brings the ball down on the edge of the penalty area before shooting on the half-volley with his left foot. The attacking midfielder's effort flies over the crossbar though.

Liam Corless7 December 2017 20:13

10' - Ouch.

We have a short injury time-out here as Nemanja Milunovic recovers from being smacked in the face by a Theo Walcott shot.

Liam Corless7 December 2017 20:15

GOAL! Arsenal 1-0 BATE (Debuchy)

11' - What a strike! Theo Walcott is challenged in the penalty area and the ball rolls back to Mathieu Debuchy, who lashes a first-time shot past Denis Scherbitsky in the BATE goal.

16' - Considering this match is a bit of a dead rubber - for Arsenal at least - it's been pretty entertaining thus far.

The home side have dominated and they're playing with real freedom in the early stages.
