This marks the last game of Rangnick's tenure, and new manager Erik Ten Hag has a big summer ahead of him as he tries to restore United to their former glories.

Referee Atkinson blows the whistle on the 90 minutes and both of these team's seasons, with the hosts running out 1-0 victors. Both sides had chances in the first half, until Palace took the lead through their talisman Zaha after 37 minutes. He showed great strength to hold off Dalot before weaving into the box, and drilling into the bottom left corner past De Gea. United hunted for an equaliser, and nearly found one when Mejbri sent a dink over Guaita from just outside the box. However, the Spanish goalkeeper did well to scramble back and tip it over and retain his side's lead. The visitors went close again when Fernandes picked out Garnacho at the back post, but the youngster couldn't turn it in and the Eagles held on for a 1-0 win.
