Liverpool were winners back in 2020 ending a 30-year wait for league glory and Jurgen Klopp is sure to have them back challenging again at the sharp end this season too while Manchester United will be looking to be back in the title picture with Cristiano Ronaldo returning to his former club in the summer.
It's not all about the action at the top though with Norwich, Watford and Brentford promoted to the top tier for 2020/21 and hoping to hold their own against the best English football has to offer and avoid the drop.

Harrison's cross is overhit and Guaita chases it out of his box so he can make the clearance. He gives it straight to Raphinha though, but luckily for the keeper, he can't pick out a team-mate with his looping cross.

Koch sloppily gifts the ball to Gallagher and he shrugs off Cooper before sliding it through to Mateta. He takes a heavy first touch though and Llorente clears his lines.

Leeds just can't clear their lines and Zaha spins past Phillips with a lovely bit of skill. The shot lets him down though as he blazes high and wide from the edge of the box.

James crashes into Ward and the defender isn't happy with that tackle. It is a poor challenge from James and he's booked.

Leeds have made a bright start to the second half. Raphinha saw an early shot blocked before Harrison swung in the resulting corner. The Brazilian flicked that on, but his header looped onto the roof of the net.

Both managers looked frustrated on the touchline, though Vieira will be the slightly happier of the two. Palace have looked a threat going forward, but need to take their chances if they want to end their losing run. Leeds have struggled to get a foothold in this game, and Marsch looked like he was already thinking about making some changes to switch things up.

It's goalless at the break between Palace and Leeds. There hasn't been too much in it between the sides so far, though Palace have had the better of the chances. With just four minutes on the clock, Mateta was played through on goal but he chipped his effort over Meslier and wide. Zaha and Mateta also saw headers saved. Leeds haven't created too much, with Harrison and Dallas both having shots blocked.
