Devenny gets caught with the ball under his feet in midfield, and that allows Fulham to get a couple of shots away from the edge of the box. Luckily for the home side, none of them are troubling and the brief period of pressure passes.

Just over 20 minutes have now passed in this game, and so far there has only been one big chance. Other than that, it has been a fairly even game with both sides getting up the pitch well. The only thing separating these two is Fulham’s passing has been slightly more accurate in attack.

Guehi does well in the middle to win the ball back with a stretching tackle, before Sarr takes over and tries to play Mateta in behind. The Fulham defenders smell the danger and take care of it.

Fulham get in behind the Palace defence again, and it’s Nelson who shoots for the second time in as many minutes. This time the shot isn’t as close and it rolls past Henderson’s left post.

Fulham get forward well again, this time on the left side through Robinson. If it wasn’t for his poor final ball, Fulham may have had a real chance as they broke into the Palace third.

Devenny has had a good start to the game in midfield, and he has a great partner in there today. It’s not ideal circumstances for Palace, but having Guehi in the middle to coach Devenny through the game is a positive.
