Harry Kane headed a last-gasp equaliser to earn Tottenham Hotspur a barely-deserved 2-2 draw in a feisty London derby at Chelsea.

Reece James seemed to have sealed the points for the hosts with a 77th-minute strike but Kane rose to head home a corner in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel and his Spurs counterpart Antonio Conte, a former Chelsea boss, were both shown red cards after the final whistle as tempers boiled over on a sweltering afternoon in west London.

Centre back Kalidou Koulibaly marked his home debut in style by volleying Chelsea in front from a corner in the 19th minute and the hosts totally dominated the opening period. Chelsea remained in the ascendancy in the second half and should have had the points wrapped up but were rocked when Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg equalised in the 68th minute.

Follow all the reaction as Chelsea draw with Spurs in the first ‘top-six derby’ of the season:

Chelsea vs Tottenham

Last season, Chelsea picked up more points away (40) than they did at Stamford Bridge (34).

The Blues have dropped points in their opening Premier League home fixture in four of the last seven seasons with three wins, two draws and two defeats in that run.

Chelsea vs Tottenham

Tottenham have won only seven of their 60 Premier League matches against Chelsea with 20 draws and 33 defeats. Although it does feel as though Spurs can challenge the Blues today.

Chelsea won all four fixtures against Tottenham last season - both fixtures in the Premier League and each leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final.

More reaction to come from the City Ground but the focus moves over to Stamford Bridge where Chelsea are hosting Tottenham in the second of today’s Premier League fixtures.

Full-time: Nottingham Forest 1-0 West Ham

90+8 mins: Nottingham Forest have done it! They claim their first Premier League victory of the season. West Ham have been sunk at the City Ground.

The visitors improved in the second half and probably didn’t deserve to lose. Dean Henderson was exceptional in goal for Forest and the home side fully earned the three points.

Nottingham Forest 1-0 West Ham

90+3 mins: Things are looking good for Nottingham Forest. The sting has gone from West Ham’s attacks and the crowd are in full voice backing their team.

They’re on the verge of claiming their first Premier League win in 23 years. Four minutes to go.

Nottingham Forest 1-0 West Ham

90 mins: Seven minutes of added time to play. That’s factoring in the drinks break, a few VAR decisions and the usual efforts of time-wasting.

There’s still a chance for West Ham to equalise.

Nottingham Forest 1-0 West Ham

86 mins: Steve Cook and Forest are throwing themselves at every cross that comes into the box. They’re dealing with everything brilliantly and Dean Henderson has been a steadying presence whenever he’s taken charge of the six yard area.

Less than five minutes plus stoppage time to go.

Nottingham Forest 1-0 West Ham

83 mins: Off the line! A corner for West Ham is whipped over to Kurt Zouma who heads an effort to the near post. Neco Williams slips inside the upright and drops low to make the block!

Desperate times for Forest.
