It's not all about the action at the top though with Norwich, Watford and Brentford promoted to the top tier for 2020/21 and hoping to hold their own against the best English football has to offer and avoid the drop.

Chelsea have struggled to bring their key men into the game in the final third. Kai Havertz's frustration appeared to get the better of him when he challenged for a duel in the air with Burn and caught him with an elbow. He was booked and on another day it could have been worse for the forward. The Blues need a response from their attackers after the break.

It is goalless at the break in the Premier League clash between Chelsea and Newcastle at Stamford Bridge. The home side have been frustrated by a stubborn rear guard from the Magpies, who came the closest to taking the lead in the game. Miguel Almiron forced a fine save from Edouard Mendy before the break, while Dan Burn also headed narrowly wide of the post. Thomas Tuchel faces a challenge to get his team on song in the second half.
