Follow live coverage as Brighton & Hove Albion face Nottingham Forest today in the Premier League. Another top-flight season will be covered in full right here with The Independent, as reigning champions Manchester City look to make it an unprecedented five titles in a row come the end of 2024/25.

The likes of Arsenal and Liverpool will be chasing Pep Guardiola's side, but just as fascinating will be the race for Champions League places, with more teams than ever before having designs on top-four finishes. Chelsea remain big-spending, Manchester United's latest rebuild continues and both Tottenham and Newcastle will expect improvements this year - yet it was Aston Villa who snared fourth last term.

Meanwhile, it's Southampton, Leicester City and Ipswich Town who made it back to the elite after promotion last year and each will have hope they can make it more than a one-year stay. Follow the latest live action from the Premier League below:

Brighton & Hove Albion vs Nottingham Forest

The full-time whistle blows to bring to an end a fantastic Premier League game with the spoils shared after a 2-2 draw. It was the visitors who took the lead, Wood firing home from the spot after Baleba felled Hudson-Odoi. Brighton roared back towards the end of the first half, first levelling through Hinshelwood before Welbeck put the hosts ahead with a brilliant free-kick. Forest came back themselves, however, with Gibbs-White setting Silva away before he squared for Sosa to tap home. Forest's point looked precarious late on after Gibbs-White received a second yellow card, an incident that also saw Nuno and Hurzeler given their marching order, though the visitors held on to ensure their unbeaten start continues. The Seagulls are also still yet to lose in the Premier League this season, and this point moves them up to seventh, while Forest remain level on points with their hosts, a place behind on goal difference. Both teams are in league action again next Saturday, when Forest host Fulham while Brighton travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea. That's all we have for you from the Amex Stadium, so thanks for your company and goodbye!

There's an awkward moment for Sels as the ball loops high into the air towards his goal. He takes no chances and leaps to punch it behind for a corner.

WHAT IS HE DOING!?!? A golden chance for Forest to snatch a stunning win goes begging as Sosa's cross for Hudson-Odoi has too much on it and goes out for a goal-kick! It would've been an easy tap-in for the former Chelsea man!
