Brighton host Liverpool in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup tonight and the first of two matches between the teams this week.
Holders Liverpool won the Carabao Cup last season and continued their unbeaten start under Arne Slot with a 2-2 draw at Arsenal at the weekend.
Brighton are the sort of Premier League team who would love a cup run and with Fabian Hurzeler’s side sixth in the table and eying a place in the quarter-finals.
Brighton will be at Anfield on Saturday as Slot’s team look to reclaim their place at the top of the Premier League table.
