Brighton maintain their unbeaten start to the season, with a 1-0 victory over Leeds, which sends them up to second the Premier League table. They should have scored a few more, with March having a wonderful chance shortly after the break, but he couldn’t beat Meslier in a one-on-one battle. They eventually got the breakthrough on 66 minutes, when Gross finished off a fine attacking move, sliding the ball into the bottom left corner of the net. Leeds tried to push forward in search of an equaliser late on, with Llorente going close with a header, but ultimately they didn’t test Sanchez enough today and Brighton deservedly got the three points.
