Barcelona won last season’s La Liga crown as they surged to their first league title since 2019 under Xavi. The champions were undefeated this season with seven wins and three draws, but this defeat leaves them trailing leaders Real Madrid by four points.
Madrid’s new signing Bellingham has made an astonishing start to life in the Spanish capital with 13 goals in his first 13 games for the club since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in the summer. The 20-year-old England star took centre stage in El Clasico, as Real Madrid laid down a marker in the race to win La Liga.

The attack comes to nothing, initially, but Barca have a slight opening moments later when Felix finds Balde inside the area. The left-back drives past Alaba and into the box.
