That's their worst losing streak since the one that got Dean Smith sacked late last year. Gerrard's honeymoon period is well and truly over.

Conte's men rode out a difficult first half to storm to victory in the second, ruthlessly capitalising on Villa's defensive frailties. Son will get the headlines for his hat-trick, but Kane and Kulusevski contributed heavily to this win, as did Spurs' keeper Lloris who protected his side's lead when Villa were well on top.
