Liverpool move within one point of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League after defeating Arsenal 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium. The game hinged on two moments in the second half as Alisson produced a huge save for the visitors to deny Martin Odegaard, and three minutes later the Reds took the lead through a clinical finish from Diogo Jota. Substitute Roberto Firmino then doubled Liverpool's advantage with a close-range effort, which secured the three points and their ninth win on the spin in the top flight.
