Liverpool were winners back in 2020 ending a 30-year wait for league glory and Jurgen Klopp is sure to have them back challenging again at the sharp end this season too while Manchester United will be looking to be back in the title picture with Cristiano Ronaldo returning to his former club in the summer.
It's not all about the action at the top though with Norwich, Watford and Brentford promoted to the top tier for 2020/21 and hoping to hold their own against the best English football has to offer and avoid the drop.

Arsenal's quick start petered towards the end of the half, but Arteta will still be pleased with the performance. They conceded few chances and still looked the more likely to get the second goal. Leicester grew into the game as it went on and looked a real threat towards the end of the half, but they need to make a quicker start after the break.

Partey's early header gives Arsenal a 1-0 lead over Leicester at half-time. The hosts made a bright start to the game and were rewarded when Partey flicked Martinelli's corner past Schmeichel at the near post. The midfielder came close to doubling their lead a few minutes later as well when he smacked the post with a powerful shot. Barnes has had the best chances at the other end, with Ramsdale making two great saves to deny him.

Arsenal are just slowing the pace of the game down when they get the ball now, but Partey tries to change that by switching it out to Tierney. He whips an early cross into the box, but there's no one there for the hosts.

Maddison steps up to take it, and he lifts a lovely ball over the top to the far post. Soyuncu stretches to make contact and sends a volley looping goalwards, but it's always going wide.
