Partey was caught by Joao Pedro and Raya takes a long kick up the pitch. Despite Saka's lurking presence, it trundles through to Verbruggen. After a brief counter, Mitoma botches a cross and it looks like that's his last action of the game as we see a double change here.

Mitoma is slid in superbly behind White, yet the defender recovers excellently and Brighton have a corner. The last touch was an Arsenal one from that set-piece and it's the same again. Van Hecke then heads wide, colliding with Rutter in the process. Luckily, the two Brighton men are unscathed - just a little shaken.

Ayari sees a rebound come to him with Raya already having dived! The youngster has the whole goal to aim at from the edge of the box, yet fires it straight at the Spaniard and Arsenal survive!

Verbruggen saves low with his feet from Havertz after the German wrestles his way to reach a great pass through. Saka goes for the rebound and stays on his feet, but the ball eventually squirms away from Arsenal's grasp.
