This year sees Manchester City try to defend their crown and claim a historic fourth title in succession. Meanwhile Luton Town are making their first appearance in the Premier League, having risen from non-league in an incredible decade of progress. They followed Championship winners Burnley and second-placed Sheffield United in earning promotion to the top flight.

That's back-to-back wins for Spurs and it lifts them to the top of the table for now with seven points. Next up for them is a trip to Fulham in the EFL Cup second round. Bournemouth's search for their first win under Iraola continues, and they'll be hoping to get it against Swansea City in the EFL Cup in midweek.

Spurs' unbeaten to the start continues with a 2-0 victory over Bournemouth. Maddison gave them the lead in the first half with his first goal for the club, latching onto Sarr's throughball to help it past Neto. Bournemouth had chances to get back into it, with Billing and Semenyo both coming very close. Just as the hosts were looking to assert their dominance in the second half, Spurs got their second, with Kulusevski racing in to beat Neto from close range.

It opens up through the middle for Brooks, who slides it forward to pick out Solanke. Van de Ven tracks his run, so the forward unselfishly pulls it back to Anthony. He hits the shot first time but sends it looping high over the bar.

WIDE! Bournemouth commit bodies forward again and it leaves them open at the back for Son to flick it onto Perisic. He has a free run into the box and fires a low shot across goal, but it rolls wide.

OVER! It's sent long over the top for Porro, who nods it down to Perisic. He has space for a shot, but he pulls it back to Son instead, though he's surrounded. He touches it back to Davies, who does take aim, but he blazes it over.

Spurs are back in possession, and they're happy to keep it in their own half for the time being as they attempt to see out stoppage time with a clean sheet.

Bournemouth are still pushing to try and pull a goal back here, but they just can't keep the ball in the final third. Solanke attempts to drive down the right, only to be cut off by Davies.
