It is a vital win for Bournemouth to start their run-in as they move out of the relegation zone and up to 15th in the table. Fulham are now ninth as their chances of European football next season looks slim for them. The Cherries host Brighton on Tuesday while Fulham play West Ham next weekend.

Fulham got off to a great start and took the lead through Pereira in the 16th minute. Solomon and Reed combined before Pereira wrong-footed Neto to slot the ball into the bottom left corner. Bournemouth struggled for the majority of the first half but created two great chances towards the end. Ouattara's first opportunity went wide of the post and his second crashed into the crossbar as Fulham led 1-0 at the break. Bournemouth looked like a completely different team in the second half and it took them just five minutes to equalise. Half-time substitute Tavernier scored a sensational curling effort from outside of the box. Solanke then scored his fourth goal after he scored the rebound from Christie's shot in the 79th minute as Bournemouth won the match 2-1.
