This year sees Manchester City try to defend their crown and claim a historic fourth title in succession. Pep Guardiola’s all-conquering City, who also won the Champions League and FA Cup last season, will have to see off Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and the rest to claim an unprecedented sixth league title in seven years.
Meanwhile Luton Town are making their first appearance in the Premier League, having risen from non-league in an incredible decade of progress. They followed Championship winners Burnley and second-placed Sheffield United in earning promotion to the top flight.

Chelsea's stuttering start to the season continues as they stay in 14th, and next up for them is Aston Villa at home. As for Bournemouth, they move up into 15th as their wait for a first Premier League win under Iraola continues. They travel to Brighton and Hove Albion next weekend.

It finishes goalless between Bournemouth and Chelsea. Chelsea hit the woodwork twice, with Jackson striking the bottom of the post in the first half before Sterling struck the underside of the crossbar with a lovely free-kick just after the break. Colwill was alert to poke the rebound of that set-piece in from close range, but the offside flag denied him a first Chelsea goal. Neto and Sanchez were both called upon to make big saves in both halves, and neither team could find a way to break the deadlock.

Chilwell takes a corner short to Sterling before getting it back and clipping it in from the byline. He's looking for Maatsen on the penalty spot, but it's just too high for the Dutchman.

Into the first of eight added minutes here, and Chelsea are racing forward on the counter. It slows down when it gets to Sterling, and the visitors try to pass it into space, allowing Bournemouth to get back into their shape.
