Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Relive all of the drama below.

Final press conference — all you need to know

When is it on?

The press conference starts at midday in Los Angeles. That’s 8pm in the United Kingdom.

How can I watch?

Simply watch the embedded stream above.

You can also follow our live commentary.

When are the weigh-ins?

The weigh-ins will take place on Friday.

And when is the fight?

The fight is on Saturday night. It’s impossible to say exactly when it will start, but you’re likely going to have to stay up until around 4-5am if you’re a UK fight fan. Sorry!

BT Sport Box Office will exclusively show Wilder v Fury on December 1st, available to buy for just £19.95, find out more at www.bt.com/sportboxoffice.

Well, that couldn't have been more eventful.

The fact that these press conferences keep ending in such fashion will naturally arouse suspicion, but the atmosphere here certainly changed when Wilder accidentally seemed to poke Fury while waving his arms around, and Shane hobbled his way onto the stage.

Wilder lost his cool. Shane certainly lost his cool. And Fury seemed to have a good old laugh before deciding to rip his shirt off and get stuck in.

That little fracas will almost certainly be more exciting than the fight itself, by the way.

Here's a clip of Tyson whipping his expensive shirt off, if you're into that kind of thing.

A reminder that both men will come face to face once more before their fight on Saturday.

That will be at the weigh-ins, which take place on Friday.

Cheers for joining me this evening, I leave you with this piece by Dec Taylor, on Deontay Wilder's favourite Tyson Fury fight.

Spoiler alert: It's the one where Steve Cunningham put him on his arse.
