The 40-year-old Filipino multiple world champion was quicker and more accurate as he controlled each round and cruised to the triumph over Broner, 29, who fought gamely and stayed upright despite being hit with several heavy combinations.
Retired great Floyd Mayweather attended the fight, fueling speculation of a rematch against Pacquiao. Undefeated Mayweather beat Pacquiao in 2015.

RD 6:
Ooubali comes on strong at the end of the round, landing a nice left hand over the top. Steve Farhood has the Moroccan winning that one, but has the pair even three rounds a piece through six.
RD 7:
Big round for Ooubali. A quick right hook stuns Warren who goes on the offence and is then shaken by a looping left. He stays on his feet as the pair swing for the hills in centre-ring as the final bell goes.
RD 8:
Nothing as clean as the previous round, but Ooubali's right hand is repeatedly finding a home. He's drawing Warren into a dog fight. Another round to the Moroccan.
↵Here's a look back to the seventh where Ooubali enjoyed his most dominant period in the fight.
RD 9:
The pace drops slightly in the ninth. It's hardly a surprise with the bout fought at such a frantic pace. Steve Farhood has Ooubali just edging it again but that one could have gone either way.
RD 10:
Much better from Warren. After his trainer told him he needed to win all the remaining rounds, he takes centre ring and walks down Ooubali, even if it means taking some shots to give them. He might have just done enough to take that one. This is going to go right down to the wire.
