Manny Pacquiao dispatched Keith Thurman in thrilling fashion to capture the WBA super world welterweight title.

The Filipino was back to his best with speed and combinations enough to hand 'One Time' his first loss of his career.

The division is wide open now, with Pacquiao set to face the winner of Errol Spence Jr vs Shawn Porter. Re-live the live action below.

"I’m just blessed tonight, he’s not an easy opponent. I think next year, I have to go back to the Philippines to work (as a senator)," Pacquiao says.

"Yes, I hope I can be there to watch that fight."

"Pacquiao is a truly great champion," says Thurman.

"I wish I had a bit more output to go toe-to-toe.

"It was just behind Manny Pacquiao. I want the rematch.

"It was a blessing and a lesson."

Round 9

Thurman enjoying more success again, yet still bleeding from the nose.

A huge counter right stuns Pac, but he remains active enough that it's not an entirely convincing round to score.

Round 10

Thurman is suddenly left limping around the ring in agony as Pacquiao slashed at his body, seemingly on the brink of forcing a stoppage.

It's a beautiful right disguised as a jab, before the left wraps around his guard and sends ripples all the way around his torso.

Round 12

What a thrilling fight, Pacquiao hurt Thurman several times.

It was vintage Pacman, will he get the decision though?

A brave Thurman fought well and had success in spells.

PACQUIAO BEATS THURMAN BY SPLIT DECISION

Nearly some controversy, as one judge has it 114-113 to Thurman but two cards, 115-112 and 115-112, are both to Pacquiao.

Justice in the end, a worthy winner!
