A White House spokesperson said it was a precautionary measure, while Trump's doctor said the president was taking a mix of drugs, including Regeneron's polyclonal antibody cocktail as well as aspirin, zinc, vitamin D, famotidine and melatonin.
Trump's campaign staff cancelled all in-person events for the first family, with Mike Pence to step in. Joe Biden, meanwhile, flew to Michigan to continue his campaign after testing negative, saying he sends prayers for Trump's 'health and safety'.

President ‘spooked’ by Covid-19 diagnosis, according to reports
Donald Trump was spooked by his positive coronavirus test, according to CNN. Quoting a person familiar with his reaction, Trump became increasingly alarmed by the diagnosis as his symptoms of fever, shortness of breath and coughing worsened.

What is Regn-Cov2, the experimental antibody cocktail given to Trump?
Regeneron, the maker of the 8-gram dose of Regn-Cov2 given to Donald Trump, confirmed the cocktail of two monoclonal antibodies was given to the president under a compassionate use request.
The experimental treatment, currently being evaluated in a double-blind trial of 275 volunteers, is a combination of two monoclonal antibodies designed to neutralize the Sars-Cov-2 virus that causes Covid-19.
In an update to the trial released out on Tuesday, three days before the president announced his diagnosis, the company’s chief scientific officer, Dr George Yancopoulos, said the antibody cocktail “rapidly reduced viral load and associated symptoms” and was most beneficial in patients who had not mounted their own effective immune response.
“These patients were less likely to clear the virus on their own, and were at greater risk for prolonged symptoms,” he said.
