Your support makes all the difference.Five states held their presidential primaries on Tuesday: Florida, Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina and Ohio. It was win or go home for Marco Rubio and John Kasich in their home states of Florida and Ohio — in which Rubio was sent home packing while Kasich upset Republican front-runner Donald Trump.

Ahead of Tuesday's primaries, Republican polls showed Trump leading in Florida, Illinois, Missouri and North Carolina. Trump and Ohio Governor Kasich are neck-and-neck in the Buckeye State. Democratic polls show Hillary Clinton leading in all states except for Illinois siding with Bernie Sanders.

Ted Cruz comments on Marco Rubio's departure from presidential race:“Marco Rubio is a friend and a colleague who ran an optimistic campaign focused on the future of our party, conservative principles, and uplifting the American people," Cruz said in a statement on Tuesday. "The Republican primary was stronger because of the ideas he brought forth. Marco’s story embodies the promise of our great nation. I know he will continue to be a champion for limitless opportunity in America, and I wish Marco, Jeanette, and their four kids the very best.”

Kasich acknowledged the protest, made it clear that he didn't encourage a response except for security and supports "peaceful protest".
"When you went to the college in the 1970s you appreciate a good peaceful protest once in a while," Kasich said after Trump supporter is booted from speech.
