The photograph of Lilibet, who celebrated the occasion with family and close friends of the Sussexes at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor on Saturday, is understood to have been taken by family friend Misan Harriman.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s second child, born on 4 June 2021 at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California, was named in honour of Queen Elizabeth II.
The couple have been “incredibly touched” by the birthday wishes that have flooded in for Lilibet.
More than 100,000 dollars (£79,800) in donations to the World Central Kitchen were made in her honour by people around the world, for which the Duke and Duchess have also expressed their gratitude.
It follows reports that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had returned to the US following a short trip to the UK for the jubilee celebrations.
The early departure means the Sussexes missed the finale of the festivities, which saw the Queen make a surprise appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace after the royal standard flag was raised above the residence during the pageant.

Famous faces in British sport and culture have arrived at today’s Jubilee Pageant.
Stars such as Sir Mohamed Farah, Dame Kelly Holmes and Gok Wan are amongst attendees at the Pageant running across The Mall towards Buckingham Palace.
The celebrities waved at the crowds below from the top of a jubilee-themed double decker bus.

Today’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant has seen colourful performances and displays from its 10,000 participants.
From bhangra dancing to carnival-themed performances, the third act of the Pageant has been a showstopping event so far.

The Queen chatted to her family members during her surprise appearance on Buckingham Palace balcony this afternoon.
She was accompanied by the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Her Majesty was flanked by Charles, William and George, the three heirs to the throne.
The Queen, who has been facing mobility issues, only stayed on the balcony for a few minutes before returning inside.

Making a surprise appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony following the platinum pageant, Her Majesty stood between Prince Charles, Prince William, and Prince George, who are first, second and third in line to the throne respectively.
The Queen saw a much smaller group of family members join her on the balcony on Sunday, compared with the Trooping the Colour parade on Thursday.

The Queen has made a statement to mark the end of her platinum jubilee weekend.
“When it comes to how to mark 70 years as your Queen, there is no guidebook to follow. It really is a first. But I have been humbled and deeply touched that so many people have taken to the streets to celebrate my Platinum Jubilee,” the statement released by Buckingham Palace read.

Royal fans were delighted to see the monarch make a final balcony appearance to mark the end of the weekend’s celebrations, with some even saying that it made them “emotional”.
“I did not think that The Queen coming out on the balcony would make me quite so emotional, what a beautiful moment,” one Twitter user wrote.

Prince Louis has stolen the show once again during Sunday’s platinum jubilee pageant.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s youngest child already won over crowds on Thursday during the RAF flypast, and he was back at it with his reactions to the pageant.
The four-year-old was spotted covering his mother, Kate Middleton’s, mouth on Sunday during the pageant, as well as sitting on his father, Prince William’s, and his grandfather, Prince Charles’, laps during the ceremony.
