Oscars 2019: The best celebrity couples on the Academy Awards red carpet

Actors Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet paid tribute to Karl Lagerfeld, wearing outfits created by the late designer

The 2019 Academy Awards saw a clutch of A-listers descend upon the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles with their other halves.

Many of the couples then attended the exclusive Vanity Fair afterparty at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, where a throng of photographers were eagerly waiting to capture every sequin, diamond and frill.

Actors Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet made quite the impression on the Oscars red carpet, donning matching blush pink ensembles that paid homage to late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.

Bohemian Rhapsody co-stars Lucy Boynton and Rami Malek put on a particularly sweet display of love during the awards ceremony, with Malek describing Boynton as "the heart of this film" during his acceptance speech for Best Actor.
