Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have been joined by family and friends in Paris amid reports of a second wedding.

The couple have been rumoured to be tying the knot in a wedding ceremony in France this summer since December 2018 when friend of the couple life coach Mike Bayer posted a photograph on his Instagram Story of a wooden box engraved with the words “Sophie and Joe 2019 France”.

So it's unsurprising that fans began to speculate when Turner and Jonas were spotted together in Paris over the weekend, suggesting that the couple’s official nuptials could be any day now.

Adding to the excitement, Turner and Jonas both posted the same romantic selfie of them about to kiss in front of the Eiffel Tower on their respective Instagram accounts on Sunday.

The images have been flooded with thousands comments from well-wishers but one message from TV personality Dr Phil has left people speculating a second wedding will occur next.

“Easy now! 1 week to go! Ha! See you at the wedding!” Dr Phil’s comment read.

Similarly, Hank Fortener, an executive at music management company Roc Nation, hinted that he would be arriving in France imminently, writing on Turner's post: “See you soon love birds.”

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have also been spotted in Paris ahead of the rumoured second wedding.

On Monday, Chopra shared a photograph of herself with Turner on Instagram alongside the caption “Her” and a heart emoji.

Meanwhile, actor Wilmer Valderrama, who is friends with Jonas, revealed that he was in Paris too.

“We made it. Happy to be here, really excited to take in the week! Where you all at?” Valderrama wrote on Instagram Stories.

Turner and Jonas officially married 1 May in a surprise Las Vegas ceremony officiated by an Elvis impersonator after the Billboard Music Awards.

Although the wedding was supposed to be a secret, DJ Diplo “ruined” the surprise by live-streaming the ceremony on Instagram to his 5m followers.

Earlier this month, Jonas singer discussed the logic behind the two wedding ceremonies.

“We had to do a legal marriage before we did a real big one,“ Jonas told Harper's Bazaar.

”It was either the courthouse or our version, and I preferred our version: friends, Elvis and Ring Pops.“

The singer also revealed that Turner played an important role in helping him mend his relationship with his brothers, and, ultimately, helping the Jonas Brothers reunite.

“It encouraged me to see she has such a great relationship with her brothers,” Jonas said.

“That was really a big thing for me to be able to look at, and say, 'I gotta get my s**t together.'"
