Jennifer Aniston 'hints' at a Friends reunion

Courteney Cox has shared a selfie with former Friends co-star Matthew Perry.

The duo played Monica Geller and Chandler Bing, who famously fell in love, got married and adopted twins, in the hit sitcom.

Cox posted the photo on Instagram on Thursday, giving fans the reunion they had all been waiting for.

“Guess who I had lunch with today….I KNOW!! Could I BE any happier? #realfriends” Cox captioned the snap, including two catchphrases their Friends characters became known for.

The selfie has garnered more than 2m likes and thousands of comments from fans of the show.

The pair’s co-stars also couldn’t contain their excitement over the reunion with Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe Buffay, writing: “Lucky lucky. #beautifulpeople.”

Jennifer Aniston, who starred as Rachel Green on the NBC sitcom, added: “Matty!! I love you, guys.”

This isn’t the first Friends reunion to grace our Instagram feeds in recent weeks.

Last month, Aniston “broke the internet” after she shared a selfie with all of her former Friends cast mates in her very first Instagram post.

Aniston posed alongside Cox, Perry, Kudrow, David Schwimmer – who played Ross Geller – and Matt LeBlanc – who played Joey Tribbiani – for the photo.

“And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM,” she wrote in the caption.

In recent weeks, Aniston has also been teasing fans by saying that she and her former Friends co-stars are “working on something” together.

During an appearance on The Ellen Show last month, presenter Ellen DeGeneres asked Aniston: “So this is his question for you, and everyone’s question, is there going to be a reunion?”

The actor replied: “Like a reboot? No.

“Listen, we would love for there to be something, but we don’t know what that something is.

"So we’re just trying. We’re working on something."
