Currently, the hashtag #beauty has accumulated more than 39.7 billion views, with many of the videos featuring top products to buy, as well as the ones to avoid.
But skincare and make-up aren’t the only items receiving praise – haircare tools are also making waves. Case in point is the flurry of excitement that emerged when TikTok discovered the joy of Revlon’s one step hair dryer and volumiser hot air brush.
The tool is essentially a hairbrush and hairdryer in one that allows you to create effortless loose waves and add instant volume, prompting locks that resemble Rachel Green’s famous Nineties ’do.
What’s more, when you scroll through the hashtag #revlonhairdryerbrush, which has 83.4 million views on TikTok, it becomes immediately obvious that it works on a variety of hair types.
One user filmed herself using the Revlon volumizer to create a soft, bouncy blow-dry look, with the caption reading “I’m fuming I didn’t get it earlier”. So far, the video has amassed 1.1 million likes and more than 8,400 comments.
And if you’re not sold yet, just take a look on Amazon where there are more than 11,000 reviews, with 80 per cent of them awarding it five stars and shoppers claiming it’s “super easy to use” while heralding it as a “gamechanger”. Owing to its popularity it is currently out of stock on the retailer’s website, but fear not because we’ve spotted it in stock elsewhere.
All of this positivity may seem too good to be true, but you can take our word for it: we’ve been lucky enough to get our hands on this hot product. Fancy giving it a try? Read on for our review of the TikTok-famous hot brush that promises to give you an effortless-looking blow-dry at home.

Revlon pro collection one step dryer & volumiser
After becoming a TikTok-famous tool thanks to giving users bouncy locks, here at IndyBest we had to put it to the test to see what all the fuss was about. Low and behold, it came out top in our review of the best hot brushes.
On first impressions, our writer noted that the hefty oval brush was bigger than she had expected, but the heat and styling were both spot on. As for its power, it was strong from the moment it was turned on, with hot air “flowing right to the root thanks to its ionic technology, which helps dry, detangle and style your locks”. The settings, meanwhile, were simple and easy to use, “with one click to start and a second click for more power”.
The grip meant the tool was comfortable to use, while the extra nozzle at the end of the brush means you can hold it in place without burning your fingers.
Styling hair with ease, the bristles “glided through our hair and left us with a salon-worthy blow-dry at an affordable price”. A worthy investment then – no wonder it’s being heralded as thetool to have.
