This £11 lipstick has gone viral on TikTok for being completely smudge-proof
The high-shine, lipstick-gloss hybrid has been praised for passing the ultimate transfer test
As well as being a place to learn dance routines and how to make baked feta pasta, TikTok has quickly become the go-to destination for discovering the latest must-have beauty finds.
The most recent product in question is a liquid lipstick which promises to be completely smudge-proof and also comes with a budget price tag.

We are, of course, talking about the NYX Cosmetics shine loud lip colour. The dual-ended product is a lipstick and gloss all in one, but how can a gloss be non-transfer, we hear you ask? TikTok has all the answers.
In today’s world of relentless mask-wearing, lipstick has been vetoed from many of our make-up routines but this particular formula has launched tons of #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt videos, where beauty fans have showered the lippie with high praise for its ability to provide a glossy finish with zero transfer.
One TikTok user, make-up artist Stephanie Valentine (@glamzillaxo), filmed herself applying a pink shade of the lipstick, advising her followers to let the formula dry for 90 seconds before adding the shiny topcoat which helps to seal in the colour. She then kisses her fingers to prove that the lipstick is budge-proof and has no transfer.
So far, the video has 316,000 likes and has been watched more than a million times.

Fancy giving the lipstick a try yourself? The good news is that it is available to buy in 24 different shades from a number of high street and online beauty retailers. But, as with all viral TikTok buys, there’s no telling how quickly it will sell out so make sure to add one to your shopping basket pronto.

NYX Professional Makeup shine loud high pigment long lasting lip shine lip gloss: £11, Boots– Buy now
Dubbed the “next generation of lip gloss” by TikTokers, NYX says that this lippie has up to 16 hours no transfer wear, while feeling lightweight and comfortable on the lips.
Featuring two-step technology, it is a dual-ended liquid lip colour that combines a high-pigment base coat with a glass shine gloss. But, unlike most lip glosses, the supposedly non-sticky, high-shine formula has been formulated so that it won’t budge, smudge, fade or feather, even if you’re wearing a face covering.
The lipstick is also infused with a number of nourishing ingredients, such as macadamia seed oil, jojoba seed oil and vitamin E, meaning it leaves your lips feeling hydrated and super-soft.
While the IndyBest team is yet to put this exact product through its paces, another NYX formula recently featured in our round-up of the best red lipsticks. The brand’s soft matte lip cream (£7, Superdrug) in the shade Monte Carlo, was picked by our reviewer for being able to hold its own against pricier competitors.
“It’s velvety smooth, drying quickly to a matte finish. Although it can flake after a few hours, this is easily avoided if you exfoliate and apply a lip balm before use. Its real strength lies in the red itself – it’s a perfect deep red for warm, olive skin tones,” our tester said.
