Assemble, bargain hunters – Amazon’s 48-hour October Prime Day is here. It kicked off with a bang this morning and will run until. tomorrow (9 October) evening at 11:59pm.
As with every Prime Day, there are savings on everything from TVs and laptops to beauty and home appliances, including vacuum cleaners, heated clothes airers and dehumidifiers,. Tech from Apple, home essentials and electric toothbrushes from Oral-B have seen their prices plummet too.
The retailer has of course also slashed the price of its own-brand gadgets – think Fire TV Sticks, Kindle tablets, Echo smart speakers and even its Ring video doorbells. But the best deal I’ve seen so far (and one I’d really recommend) is this fantastic deal on the AirPods Pro 2 earbuds, which have been slashed to their lowest-ever price.
To keep you constantly updated, I’m busy hunting down the very best discounts throughout the sale. But remember, you need to be a Prime subscriber if you want to take part.
These Bose wireless earbuds have an £80 discount
Looking for a new pair of wireless earbuds? I’m in love with the Bose QC Ultra, and right now, you can snap them up for less thanks to this £80 discount. They’re usually pretty pricey, but they’ve got the best noise-cancelling I’ve tried.

The Tile mate app was easy to use while the Tile itself was quick and simple to set up, according to our tester. And, most importantly, the “system is very effective at finding items misplaced around the home”, they added. It’s cheaper than the AirTag even without this deal and works with both Android and iOS, too.
These cosy Crocs are half price for Prime Day
Love them or hate them, it seems as though Crocs are the ugly shoe that’s here to stay. Forget slippers this season and plump for this cosy lined pair, which is now half price.

“We think these are basically sliders for winter, and we’re here for it”, our reviewer said, who couldn’t recommend these furry shoes enough, if it’s comfort that you’re after. “As the back is open, it can get a little drafty when wearing in strong winds but, overall, our feet were warm and snug when walking outside”, they said, although they loved to wear them indoors, too.
There’s £150 off this tried and tested IPL machine
Minising the hassle that comes with removing unwanted body hair, IPL – or intense pulsed light – machines deliver result that last. Our reviewer saw results after just four treatments with the Philips lumea series 8000, and it’s dropped by £150 this Prime Day.
