Inês Pereira is a Junior Video Journalist at The Independent. She previously worked as a radio journalist in Portugal, covering the Web Summit, national elections, and the environmental movement Fridays for Future. She was nominated for The Sigma Awards for her data-led piece on the Portuguese cost of living crisis. She’s interested in the environment, technology, and social issues.
