WandaVision fans think they’ve worked out who the Luke Skywalker-sized cameo will be.

The show’s lead star, Elizabeth Olsen, previously teased the surprise appearance of a Marvel character while discussing the remaining episodes.

When asked if there was a shock on a par with the return of Skywalker in WandaVision’s fellow Disney Plus series The Mandalorian, Olsen told TV Line: “Yes. I’m really excited.”

Since then, fans have been trying to predict which character this could be – but one line in the fourth episode might have provided a very big hint.

The moment in question occurs in a scene involving Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), Dr Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings) and secret agent Jimmy Woo (Randall Park).

When discussing the meaning behind the Westview “Hex” created by Wanda, Rambeau namechecks a friend who “who’d be up for this challenge”. She says he’s an aerospace engineer.

It’s a seemingly throwaway line, but it’s led to viewers wondering who she could be talking about with many assuming it to be Reed Richards, the leader of the Fantastic Four.

Richards will appear in the forthcoming Fantastic Four film, but no casting has been announced. Despite this, there have been rumours that John Krasinski was eyed for the role.

Could he show up in the final half of WandaVision? Following the return of Evan Peters as the X-Men version of Wanda’s brother, Pietro, it’s a possibility.

Parris herself has been hyping up the identity of Rambeau’s mysterious friend. She told ComicBook.com: "When I, well ... I can’t wait to see what y’all’s reaction is when you learn who the aerospace engineer is.”
